Hello, all!
I admit I haven't been the best at updating, but there hasn't been much to say. Well, now there is some news to report -- Andy graduated from Basic Combat Training on April 17, 2009!
I flew out to Atlanta, GA and drove to Ft. Jackson, SC for Family Day and Graduation. Andy's grandmother, Mary Lynn, also made the trip up from Florida!

It was so good to see Mary Lynn - We hadn't seen her since Andy's A&M graduation last August!
After leaving Ft. Jackson, Andy and I drove my rental car (a red Chevy Cobalt who earned the name "Darryl") back to Atlanta and then down to Ft. Benning, GA where he will go to Office Candidate School.

Today, OCS has officially started. Unfortunately, they don't have their cell phones or internet access on a regular basis...but as OCS progresses they'll get those things back and he'll be available to call and e-mail. He has set up a new e-mail address (acotter135@gmail.com) but he still checks his old hotmail occasionally.
It's getting exciting: In about six weeks he'll find out his branch and in 12 weeks he'll graduate!
Also, I promise to be better about updating! ;)
