No kidding!

Well, well, well... The prodigal daughter returns.

Ok, so it's not like nothing has happened since my last post OVER TWO YEARS AGO.  To be blunt, if you don't know anything about what we've been up to since August 2011, then oh well.  Bygones.
(p.s. those blue fans look pretty sweet in our house here, too.)

So, here's the deal: Andy and I are currently in Quantico, VA (about 35 miles south of D.C.)  It's a Marine Corps Base and you may also know it as the place where the FBI trains.  You know - Clarice Starling and such....we're not allowed over on that side...so...anyway...

Andy is in school with other officers in the Marines/Army/Navy/Air Force and he'll be graduating in May.  Immediately following (although a detailed timeline is still up in the air) we'll be making our way through Kansas City and Dallas to visit our families... And then, we're off...

...To Vilseck, Germany!

(I'm totally gonna get Andy some lederhosen.)

Go ahead and Google map this - we'll be about one hour from Nuremberg, two hours from Munich and two and a half hours from Prague.  Depending on the previously mentioned detailed timeline, we should be arriving by 1 June and it looks like we'll be there for 3 years-ish.

We're both really excited about this new adventure and I promise (although blog promises can sometimes be empty, so no real promises) to be better about getting stories up on here.  Mostly because now that we'll be on the other side of the world, complete with a 6 hour time difference, it's going to be more difficult to make sure I tell my family and friends the things that need to be told!

Also, yay for "World Tour" finally being applicable!

I know you're probably waiting for "Haha, April Fool's!" but...this is for real. No, really. For realskies. We got the paperwork and everything.

Tschüs!

(For real.)
