Hello - I hope everyone's weekend is going well. If you haven't yet - Go see Harry Potter! ;)
In the mean time, today's topic: Dream house.
Remember how I said I haven't had the same address for than 12 months since 2004? Ha! My dream house is one in which I live for more than a year (and no, 13 months doesn't count).
In all honestly, I don't really know what my dream house looks like or even where it is...
However...I wish for:
- a laundry room where my washer goes on the left and sits right next to the dryer (I haven't experienced this yet)
- a gas stove (I had one and I miss it)
- a sprinkler system
- windows, but not too many
- a two car garage with enough space to get in and out of the cars without having to pull them out
- a basement (at least mostly finished)
- some carpet, some hardwood, some tile
- a nice big backyard
- good neighbors (I have that now and I love it!)
I don't know... To be honest, it's not something I really think about right now. Andy and I are so far away from buying a house, at least for the time being. I mean, we get a housing allowance from the Army so, if for some reason we're not living on post that can go towards a mortgage if we wanted, but with all the moving around we do - especially these last few years - what's the point in buying right now?
So, basically I'm not picky - I mean I have standards and basic requirements (yes, my dream house should include toilets) but beyond that I'm just happy to a have a place with Andy and call it home.
