Day 17!

"All you people - can't you see? Can't you see? N-K-O-T-B-S-B!"

And it was amazing.

My favorite part was when Donnie was singing "Cover Girl" and he ripped his shirt off...dreamy.

Moving right along... Today's topic: Something you're looking forward to.

Well.... I was looking forward to Harry Potter.  Then I was looking forward to the concert last night. But even when I was looking forward to those two things and to a hundred little things before them, I have, since November, been looking forward to one major thing: Andy coming home!

When Andy first left in November (you can read a bit about it here) it seemed like he was going to be gone forever.  I mean, that's what a year feels like the first day he leaves.  Right after he left, though, it was Thanksgiving and then Christmas and then New Years! So the first couple of months actually went pretty quickly.  Things slowed down once 2011 started, but then Andy came for R&R in April (yay!), and then suddenly it was May and we were halfway done!

So now it's this downhill slope.  Which is good and bad.  Good because he's closer and closer to coming home.  Bad because no matter how close it is, it feels like it's taking so long to get here! But....it's definitely mostly good!

Looking forward to Andy coming home encompasses a lot more than Andy just being here.  It includes spending holidays with the all the Cotters being home together!  It includes a possible ski trip AND a possible honeymoon!!! (Hey Andy - HONEYMOON!!!) It means getting to spend our next anniversary together.  It means getting to eat out together and see movies together and everything else - together!
