Day 6!

Hello!

Today's topic: A picture of something that makes you happy.

Well, there are a lot of things that make me happy – Andy, my cat, my dog, my family and friends, chocolate milk, Netflix, a good night’s sleep… How can I pick just one?

No really – How can I pick? I mean if I pick a specific person, then that leaves out other people who make me happy.  But if I pick Netflix, I mean that’s kind of weird – “It makes me happy to receive by mail movies I didn’t bother seeing in theatres?” A good night’s sleep – how tired am I really at the end of the day?  And then, there’s all those little things – like finding $10 in a pair of jeans you’re trying on.  Or making it inside just before it starts pouring rain.  Or getting to sleep in your own bed after a long trip. This is a hard topic for me!

I guess there’s something to be said for that, though. That there’s so many people and things in my life that make me happy I’m having a hard time choosing.  It seems silly to say “My life makes me happy” – that’s such a blanket statement. It implies a constant level of euphoric happiness that just does not exist.  I mean, my life is certainly not perfect, but I don’t have much to complain about.

So here we are – There are too many things that make me happy to pick just one of those to show you.  You know what, though? This is not the Facebook 30-day photo challenge.  So instead…I’m going to show you a few shots of the people and such that I have pictures of, in no particular order:

My last name and all the people associated with it!
My parents and Andy and Aggie football!
The Texas State Fair
My bridesmaids, who include: Aggies, a Gamma Phi,
my bestie, a former roommate and my sister-in-law
My nephew, Will
My nephew, Tim
Christmastime!
My elephant mug and hot chocolate!
My winter boots and winter coat and snow!!
The Old Red
Daphne Schnitzel
Nugget Helen
So, to be clear - this is just a snapshot.  To be honest, adding pictures is easy but finding them in the thousands of photos I have is kind of a pain... Anyway, yep - I'm pretty lucky!
