Haha, nah... Let's be serious.
I only had a couple boyfriends before meeting this guy Andy. I apologize if either of these gentlemen are reading this, but ... I didn't love them. I think I was only with them for about six months, and that's rounding up. I got bored quickly and lost interest and didn't feel like dragging it on any longer than it needed to go.
Then in October 2005 I met Andy Cotter. Well, apparently we had met several times before then, I guess I just hadn't noticed yet. Oops... Anyway, we quickly became a packaged-deal before we were even "officially" a couple. It turns out we both like-liked each other, but were too afraid to say anything because we had this really great friend thing going and didn't want to hurt that. How many hours of extended/deleted/director's cut "Lord of the Rings" did I watch just to spend time with him? How many all-nighters at Kettle drinking coffee and chocolate milk - pretending to study, but really just sharing my iPod and talking? How many hours at the Cinemark where we both worked seeing free movies? How many Highland House parties?
I don't remember exactly when I knew I loved him or that I was going to marry him, but by the time we made it home from our road trip (Plano, TX to Portland, OR: three amazing weeks in the western US) I knew he was it: The love of my life.
Thankfully, the feeling was mutual! =)
