Day 8!

I really need to get started earlier.

Tonight it was Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.  Which I'm still watching...Oh, that Dolores Umbridge.

Anyway - today's topic: A place you've traveled to. (Or a place to which you've traveled - for those types...)

There it is again - a topic that basically says "Well, you probably have more than one person/thing/place that you could use here, but no, just pick one."  And yes, I did say I'm bad at picking - and that hasn't changed - but tonight, I will pick just one.

Which to pick?  France - because it's the furthest I've traveled, I've been there twice, and I spent the longest amount of time there.  Texas? Because technically I do only travel there to visit, I don't live there anymore.  Upstate New York, NYC, Tampa, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, San Francisco?  Flippin, Arkansas? Anywhere along the road trip? OH WAIT - that's a good idea!

Ok, I'm taking it back - I'm not picking one PLACE, but I am picking one TRIP. After all, it was five years ago this month that Andy and I embarked upon this trip.  In fact, 5 years ago today we were celebrating my friend Christine's wedding in Mesa, AZ.

Aw, memory lane:
Stay classy, El Paso.
Christy's wedding in Mesa!
Happy Anniversary!
Joshua Tree, somewhere...
Funny sign, somewhere else...
Hoover Dam
Las Vegas - Ceasar's Palace?
I don't know, we were really just passing through...
Chinatown, San Franciso
Golden Gate Bridge
Big giant tree stump
Portland's hybrid rose garden
Portland
Idaho sunrise
Ha, somewhere in Wyoming?
And back to Texas
(no pictures of KS or OK - what for?)

Oh, five years later and it's still one of my favorite trips.  And he's still one of my favorite people! ;)
