Blah blah, nothing exciting to report...
Today's topic: Something you miss.
It's an understatement to say I miss Andy. So instead I'll write about something that is a little less obvious.
I miss Aggieland.
It's silly, but absence truly does make the heart grow fonder. While I was there I was just looking forward to finishing college. I definitely made the most of my four years though, and I wasn't looking forward to leaving College Station, I was mainly looking forward to a school-free life. Well, not even that, just a test-free life I guess... Anyway, while I was there it was "Oh it's SO hot, it's SO humid!" or "It's too conservative!" - What? I just didn't fit in that way...
Otherwise, I did love it.
Great school - a pretty campus; despite its shortcomings (Is Vision 2020 still around?)
Great people - well, MY friends (sorority sisters, dems, etc.) were great people
Great traditions - Whoop! Howdy! Gig 'em! Midnight Yell! Muster!
Great bars - mostly Northgate
Great restaurants - Blue Baker, Martin's, Christopher's, Freebirds...and many more!
In addition to all of that - it's where I met a lot of my favorite people, like Andy! So yes, despite my better judgment, I miss Aggieland.
